What the client needed

Professional ice hockey team the Montreal Canadiens, a pioneer in innovation and sustainable development, wanted to take environmental performance even further at the Bell Centre, the team’s home venue. The building has LEED, ISO 14001, and ICI ON RECYCLE Level 3 certifications. By recycling water from the ice, the organization is highlighting its exemplary commitment and raising environmental awareness among fans.

  • The Montreal Canadiens have one of the best ice rinks in the NHL®, and it is governed by strict requirements. They had to go with a system that could produce very high-quality recycled water.
  • Limited space available to add new equipment in the Zamboni room.
